One of Bug’s favorite things to do right now is play in the car. Seriously… kid LOVES it. I mean, look at that happy face. He’ll play in there for a good 20 or 30 minutes if you let him. Last week I cleaned the entire inside of my car while he played in there… crawling back and forth between the seats, pushing all kinds of awesome buttons, even sitting in his car seat to eat a snack. After that, we washed the outside of my car. Bug was in charge of the hose. I didn’t get a picture, but he was a very good helper monkey.
Often, when I take Bug to run errands with me, we’ll stop by the playground on the way home as a reward for him being a good errand boy. The other day, after a trip to Target, I let him play in the car instead of going to the playground. He couldn’t have been happier. He figured out how to eject and load cds, which was super fun. He figured out how to change the radio stations… he would dance each time a new song came on. Hilarious.
The only bad thing… he is NOT ok when it is time to stop playing in the car. Not just upset, but very very sad. That kind of awesome fun comes with a price, you know?
